All printed circuit boards (PCBs) manufactured in China, regardless of layer count, are at this time subject to the following duties: *
โข 25% Section 301 (unless excluded; exclusions are set to expire May 31 for 2 and 4-layer rigid PCBs)
โข 20% IEEPA (the 10% imposed on February 4 and another 10% on March 4)
โข 10% reciprocal as of April 5
โข 34% reciprocal (China-specific, as of April 9)
Our understanding is that, as of April 9,ย it will be 25% (Section 301), 20% (IEEPA) and 34% (reciprocal) =ย ๐ณ๐ต% ๐๐ผ๐๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ณ๐ณ๐.
As mentioned above, 2- and 4-layer PCBs are excluded (until May 31) from the Section 301 Tariffs, meaning a total ofย 54% in tariffsย shall apply.
For other major PCB-producing countries, reciprocal tariffs to take effect April 9 are:
India: 26%
Korea: 25%
Malaysia: 24%
Taiwan:ย 32%
Thailand: 36%
Vietnam:ย 46%
