The โ€œtariffyingโ€ news continues:ย All printed circuit boards (PCBs) manufactured in China, regardless of layer count, are at this time subject to the following duties:

โ€ข 25% Section 301 (unless excluded; exclusions are set to expire May 31 for 2 and 4-layer rigid PCBs)

โ€ข 20% IEEPA (the 10% imposed on February 4 and another 10% on March 4)
125% reciprocal (China-specific, as of April 9)

โ€ข Our understanding is that, as of April 9,ย it will be cumulative ofย ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ•๐ŸŽ% ๐ญ๐จ๐ญ๐š๐ฅ ๐ญ๐š๐ซ๐ข๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐ฌ.

As mentioned above, 2- and 4-layer PCBs are excluded (until May 31) from the Section 301 Tariffs, meaning a total ofย 145% in tariffsย will apply.

Here’s a link to the officialย Federal Register noticeย with the details.

To add to all this excitement, freight costs are on the rise too!
