This is where we stand—at least for now—on tariffs of Chinese-manufactured PCBs after last week’s international trade discussions:
Section 301 tariffs: Remain in place at 25%
Reciprocal tariffs: Will remain at 10% through November 2026
IEEPA (AKA the fentanyl tariffs): Will be reduced from 20% to 10%
Section 301 exclusions: The U.S. will extend the expiration of “certain 301 tariff exclusions” through November 10, 2026.
We are not sure if this means all exclusions will be extended. We will let you know when we have some clarity.

2 and 4-layer rigid PCBs will face a 20% tariff—Reciprocal (10%) + IEEPA (10%) + 301 Exemption (0%).
All other PCBs, regardless of layer counts or technologies (rigid, flex, or metal), are subject to the full 45%—Reciprocal (10%) + IEEPA(10%) + 301(25%).
We will keep you updated later this month on whether the 2-and 4-layer rigid exemptions will expire. Hopefully, they will be extended as they have numerous times before.
