All printed circuit boards manufactured in China, regardless of layer count, are subject to the additional 20% duties effective March 4th, 2025.

While 2 and 4-layer printed circuit boards (PCBs) are still exempt from the 25% Section 301 Tariffs, they 𝘼𝙍𝙀 𝙉𝙊𝙏 𝙀𝙓𝙀𝙈𝙋𝙏 from the recently implemented additional duties.

If the board is 6 or more layers (flex, rigid-flex or metal), the already existing 25% tariff 𝙥𝙡𝙪𝙨 the additional 20% duties will be applied to the cost of the PCB prior to its export, which is known as the Ex works (EXW) price.

Please note: Unless renewed, the 2 and 4-layer exemption from the 25% Section 301 Tariffs are set to expire at the end of May this year.
